I didn’t come from much. School wasn’t where I thrived, and I left with few qualifications and no clear plan. At seventeen, I got a job washing dishes in a local kitchen. It wasn’t glamorous, but it taught me discipline, work ethic, and the value of showing up every single day.
Rising in the Kitchen
Before long, I became a head chef. I learned how to lead under pressure, how to build teams, and how to push for standards when it mattered most.
A Leap into the Unknown
Then I did something different. I left with a friend and moved to Ibiza, selling tickets on the beach. I had no idea how to sell, no formal training. At first, I struggled. But I kept going. I used what I learned from the kitchen: keep your head down, and never give up. I slowly figured out a process. The next year, I was brought back as a team leader. Eventually, my teams broke every sales record.
The Choice That Changed Everything
For seven years, I travelled the world, working, learning, growing. But I always knew I had some weaknesses: writing, academic skills, and computers. So I made a decision that changed everything. I went to university.
Back to School, Back to Basics
I showed up early, stayed late, and attended every support session I could. I studied relentlessly, learning how to write and express ideas with clarity. When I got my first grade back (89%), something shifted. I believed I could do it. I set myself a goal: First-Class Honours in every assignment. And I did it. I graduated with an average of 87.2%, the highest grade in a cohort of 180 students.
New Environments to Lead
Becoming a first-time father, starting university, and working part-time in my first office role all at once pushed me into unfamiliar territory and reshaped how I lead. Within months, I was promoted to team leader and later named Employee of the Year for creating a more collaborative team environment and enhancing operational efficiency. Balancing work, study, and parenthood taught me resilience, time management, and the power of leading by example. Each new environment brought different challenges, but one lesson stayed the same: when I commit, I grow. When I lead, I lift others with me. No matter the setting or what’s going on in life, I show up, lead with care, and bring people together.
Looking Forward
I’ve faced setbacks, self-doubt, and hard circumstances. But through it all, I've always looked forward and found ways to self-improve.
Now, I’m preparing to begin an MSc in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. I don’t know where the next chapter leads, but I do know this: I’ll meet it with everything I’ve got.
Why Hire Me?
I’m not just driven - I’m adaptable, resilient, and relentlessly committed to doing great work. I’ve proven that I can succeed in high-pressure environments, lead diverse teams, and turn weaknesses into strengths through sheer effort and self-belief.
Even when I’m not in a formal leadership role, I believe in leading by example. Being a great team member is just as important as being a great leader, no matter the position. I give my best and lift others with me.
What I Bring:
I don’t come with all the answers. But I bring curiosity, humility, and the confidence to learn anything. I’ve earned every opportunity I’ve had by showing what I can do when someone gives me a chance.
Give me one chance, and I promise, you won’t be sorry.
